There are many times that you may need to convert a word doc to a PDF…to create an ebook, to upload to create space or other publisher, to send it to someone who is nervous about opening a word doc because of virus concerns, etc.

In addition, if you have Word 2010 or newer, you can use “File/Save As” and select PDF from the drop-down menu of available output formats.  There is one problem with this.  I used it at first with Word 2010 when I was publishing a book on Create Space and they gave me a message saying the format was incorrect.  I then used Cute PDF and didn’t have that problem.
